A Reference
Properly Cultured
A reference for parents

Properly Cultured,
year by year.

A curated list of the books, films, foods, music, art, and formative experiences that have shaped Western civilization — arranged by age, from eight to eighteen.

Not a syllabus and not a leaderboard. A working reference for the parent who would rather read aloud than scroll, who knows that a culturally literate child does not arrive by accident.
