Decorate Easter eggs

Hard-boiled eggs and dye on the kitchen table the week before Easter. The egg as the closed tomb broken open. The older Ukrainian and Polish pysanky traditions use wax and pattern and take days; a child's first version is dye, vinegar, and a wax crayon. The basket goes to Mass on Easter morning.
